Future-Proof Transition to DBWS

Costumer:

Time Frame:
2021-2022
Areas:
Implementation of DBWS

The Challenge

Aarhus HF & VUC wanted to transition from API to DBWS to ensure a future-proof solution for their bank reconciliations. The API solution relies on having a “key” on one’s PC that is linked to the individual employee—and that key is lost if a new PC is acquired. As more people will need to upload and reconcile bank files in the future, switching to DBWS is the obvious choice—both because it eliminates the need for a key on the PC and because the API solution will eventually be phased out.

“We had heard that the API solution would eventually be phased out and wanted to be proactive. We were a bit worried that there could be a period where we would be left without a solution, meaning we couldn’t upload and reconcile the bank files.”

The Approach

We held a kickoff meeting and guided them through an extensive transition process, collaborating with Danske Bank and KMD to ensure a seamless implementation of DBWS.

The Solution

After technical setup at KMD and thorough testing, DBWS was fully integrated, enabling Aarhus HF & VUC to reconcile bank files easily and efficiently.

The Outcome

Aarhus HF & VUC now has a stable solution for bank reconciliations without dependence on individual PC keys, significantly improving their workflows and increasing their operational reliability.

“We found the process with MDC Nordic to be good, and we received competent advice. If we had problems or questions, we could quickly get an answer. The task of bank reconciliation has become faster, and we gained new knowledge regarding the collection of participant fees.”
